It is by bike and along the Canal du Midi that you will reach the Domaine de Cantalauze, to meet the winemaker Thomas Sananes, who will welcome you for a tour of the vineyard, as well as a tasting of his wines and regional products. Along the way, the Daughter of the South will tell you the history of the Canal du Midi, a titanic achievement undertaken by Pierre-Paul Riquet in the 17th century. Small group biking tour along the Canal du Midi (9kms, around 40mn with electric bikes) with a
visit of the vineyard, tasting and history of Thomas wines, locally ripened cheeses from the region and exceptional quality charcuterie produced by a family house for 5 generations and whose history you will discover. After that, we will get back on our bikes to reach the Carcassonne lock!
